The most wonderful time of the year, indeed! The holidays have officially exploded at the most infamous beach in North Beach. Steve Silver’s “Beach Blanket Babylon” has been gleefully tickling audiences for decades — poking fun, belting out tunes and sporting unimaginably enormous hats. Funny enough, its very first incarnation (as a group of street performers) included a tap-dancing Christmas tree and, over 36 years later, the chorus line of tapping trees is still making its yearly holiday appearance at North Beach’s Club Fugazi.

The special holiday show begins Wednesday, November 17th at 8:00 PM and runs through New Year’s Eve.
